Mike is one of our key team of Administrators here at ICS and works hard to keep everything moving smoothly by taking on preparatory casework through to appointments with our Insolvency Practitioners. He works equally professionally with new and existing clients as a point of contact, as he does in-house to communicate effectively with all of our team members and stakeholders.
Mike has been a member of the team at ICS for just over a year and came straight into the role having completed his Law Degree at the University of Law in Chester, and his Legal Practice Course (LPC) over at ULAW’s Manchester campus upon graduation. Prior to his intensive study, Mike was working for his family’s business in the Waste Management industry. He had been doing this since the age of 13 and even continued to work for the family at weekends and during holidays whilst he studied at university.
In carving his own pathway, however, Mike knew that Insolvency was the career for him after taking a great interest in the Insolvency modules of his degree work at university. His aim is to one day become an Insolvency Practitioner, and he will soon be taking his CPI examinations in order to achieve this goal.
In working for what Mike describes as a nice small team, working at ICS is a bit like working in a family business again, and we’re delighted that our staff feel this way about working with us.
